First Aid NQF Level 1 & Save a Child

This course focus on emergency scenarios that are faced by professionals, including teachers, Au-pairs and playgroup teachers, looking after young children.

Who should attend?

This course is for people working with younger children – those up to eight years old – or working towards a Diploma or Degree in Childcare and Education.This can be added to any of our first aid courses with more intense focus on infants and children.

What you will learn?

The course covers how to deal with accidents and emergencies involving young children. Students will learn how to respond to airway, breathing, and circulatory emergencies in infants and children. Attention is given to pediatric illnesses, choking and C.P.R. for children and infants.
