Course description

This course is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) and its application in the workplace. Participants will learn about the general duties of employers and employees as outlined in sections 7, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, and 20 of the OHSA.

Through a study manual and interactive discussions, participants will gain practical knowledge about the roles and responsibilities of safety representatives and health and safety committees. They will also learn about the general prohibitions that must be followed in order to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a certificate demonstrating their knowledge and understanding of the OHSA. The course can be customized to meet the needs of specific industries or work environments.
