Automated External Defibrillator

kit to use for aed

On of N.F.A.A. new key features of their First Aid courses is the inclusion of AED (Automated External Defibrillator) training as a free add-on.

AEDs are used to treat cardiac arrest, which is a condition in which the heart suddenly stops functioning. An AED is a portable electronic device that can analyse a person’s heart rhythm and, if necessary, deliver an electric shock to restore the heart’s normal rhythm. AED training is critical for individuals who may be called upon to provide emergency medical care, such as healthcare providers, first responders, and other emergency personnel.

All N.F.A.A. first aid courses include AED training because they recognize the importance of having this skill set in emergency situations. The inclusion of AED training ensures that individuals who complete their courses are well-equipped to handle a range of medical emergencies. In addition, AED training is often required by law in many jurisdictions, making it a necessary component of any comprehensive first aid training program.

Overall, the inclusion of AED training in all N.F.A.A. first aid courses demonstrate the organization’s commitment to providing high-quality training that meets the needs of individuals and organizations around the world. By equipping individuals with the skills and knowledge needed to respond to medical emergencies, N.F.A.A. is helping to make our communities safer and more resilient.
